Pst. David Macharia Mugwe

Pst. David Macharia Mugwe is married to Joyce Wanjiku Kagiri and  are blessed with three (3) children namely Caroline Wanjiru Macharia, Robin Mugwe Macharia and the late Peacemegan Kabura Macharia.
He is a holder of Diploma in Cartography from The Technical University of Kenya and Higher Diploma in Geo-information Science from K.I.S.M. He has a wide experience in mapping surveys of the earth resources having worked at various government institutions such as Survey of Kenya and Directorate of Resource Surveys and Remote Sensing. Other institutions like Regional Center for Mapping of Resources for Development and World Agroforestry Center, (formerly ICRAF), he have enriched his technological training and practical application of the fast changing data platforms of Geo-informatics.
He received the Lord in January 1994 and continued to do service in Gospel Recovery Centre, Charter Hall. He worked as an usher, teenage class teacher and in praise and worship team as well as leader of home bible church.
He identified his calling in the back in 2000 while heading a mission in Kitui County of students from Kenya Institute of Surveying and Mapping, He was thereafter ordained minister of the gospel under Rivers of Joy Ministries in 2006 by the Presiding Bishop Paul M. Maina. Throughout the years He has taken this calling seriously and made inroads in various areas of operation and environments. He has helped establish churches like God’s Grace and Glory (G3) in Membley, Ruiru and Deliverance Church, Ruai West besides many other smaller fellowships.
He is also a board member of Transitional Leader Development (TLD), an NGO registered in Kenya and the USA for training leaders of all walks of life to be excellent and effective leaders which is currently establishing the Africa Servant Leadership Development Institute in Wote, Makueni County.
His gifts in the ministry are that of Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God and also a leader of Praise and Worship. He is also much involved in outdoor evangelism.
